With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, Johnny Mateo always had a hunger for entrepreneurship and envisioned opening his own brokerage company. A self-motivated and driven mortgage professional, Johnny, President/Chief Mortgage Advisor, founded Core Mortgage Services, LLC., in 2014. Today, Core Mortgage has offices in Lewistown and West Virginia, with additional offices opening soon throughout Pennsylvania.
Johnny and his team of experienced Mortgage Professionals share the same passion for the financial services industry and provide clients with exceptional customer service and personalized loan products and services.

Growing up on the upper west side of New York City, Johnny developed a curiosity and dedication to hard work that continues to be a driving force in his life today. When, at the age of 9, his curious nature got the best of him, Johnny chose to skip school to find out what the adults did while he was in 3rd grade. His parents then sent him to Carson Long Military Academy for the next 7 years before coming to Penn State University, where he studied Business and Spanish.
